Marketing Manager

San Francisco, Bay Area / Temporarily Remote

At Motic Digital Pathology, we drive adoption of digital solutions by making slide scanners and software-based pathology technology approachable for hospitals and labs everywhere. Our solutions connect doctors to make better clinical decisions everyday, automate diagnostic procedures to expand service capacity at hospitals, and deliver specialist expertise to patients in even the most remote places.

We are looking for a creative, energized Marketing Manager to advocate for the value of implementing digital medicine in hospitals, clinics, and medical schools by developing a deep understanding of Motic products, customer use cases, and applications. This role will make our technology approachable and exciting for an audience beyond industry early adopters by creating messaging and content that resonates with customers.

In this position, you will:

• Have full creative control over the Motic Digital Pathology brand image in a unique global market
• Oversee digital pathology marketing team members
• Direct creation of thought-leading product marketing materials and content across digital and print communications such as customer literature, blogs, e-mails, videos, webinars, presentations, web copy, advertisement, and trade show/event material
• Lead and develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyers by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape
• Influence the future of an entire industry through teaching our end users about the digital and AI revolution in pathology and the benefits of implementing medical digitization
• Analyze effectiveness of marketing programs, to include web marketing, on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes
• Trade show management to include registering, setup, and onsite logistics
• Work closely with the marketing teams of other Motic divisions to ensure brand consistency and lead brand expansion for our global company
• Collaborate closely with Motic’s project management organization, sales team, and customer success team to achieve goals

We are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or directly related experience required. MBA a plus
• 5-8 years experience in a B2B or B2C marketing role required
• Basic website management preferred, to include understanding of web languages such as HTML and CSS, SEO, and key words from content
• Proficient with Adobe suite to include Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong sense of ownership, work ethic, and self-motivation
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven collaboration abilities across multi-functional teams
• Curiosity to learn our products and help people in a highly intellectual industry solve complex problems
