At Motic Digital Pathology, we drive the adoption of digital solutions by making slide scanners and software-based pathology technology approachable for hospitals and labs everywhere. Our solutions connect doctors to make better clinical decisions every day, automate diagnostic procedures to expand service capacity at hospitals, and deliver specialist expertise to patients in even the most remote places.
We are looking for a resourceful, organized Technical Project Manager to maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, and liaise with clients.
• Work directly with Product Management to gather feature requests and coordinate implementation with teams in China
• Serve as subject matter expert for agile and waterfall project management practices for our software and hardware development teams
• Organize cross-functional teamwork with engineering, factory, marketing, and sales teams, as well as with Motic executives
• Communicate new product and feature releases to the global team and VIP partners, working within any custom-tailored processes, and ensure we meet our timelines for rollout and training
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Create and maintain thorough project documentation
• Own the customer feature experience by ensuring that our Customer Success teams are equipped with the knowledge and collateral to aid and train our end users
• Manage projects in multiple geographical locations; travel to tradeshows and customers as required, a couple of international trips per year likely as well, up to 20% time
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• Technical background. Hands-on experience in either: Software development and web technologies;
Hardware-software integrated products, or; Optical devices.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred, but coding academy candidates or project managers with a strong background in technical products are also highly encouraged to apply
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in hardware development and best practices
• Used to coordinating global projects
• Experience building and leading project management teams
• Familiar with the Adobe suite
• Fluency in Mandarin and/or proven experience working with native Mandarin speakers on technical
projects a plus
